Data deletion
How to remove your data from studio
You can delete your data yourself at any time — you don't need to email us and you don't need to wait.
Disconnect a single account
In the studio app: Settings → Connections → Disconnect.
This immediately deletes the stored access token for that platform and the record of which posts studio sent there. It takes effect straight away.
You can do the same from the platform's side — for Facebook and Instagram, remove studio under Business integrations. We're notified and deactivate the connection automatically.
Delete your whole studio account
In the studio app: Settings → Privacy → Delete account. This removes your profile, posts, messages, and every connected-account token. Some transaction records are retained where the law requires it — see the privacy policy.
What we hold for a connected account
- An access token from that platform, encrypted at rest.
- Your account ID and handle on that platform.
- A record of each cross-post: which post, where, and whether it worked.
That's all. We don't store your feed, followers, messages, or analytics from any connected platform.
Posts already published
Deleting your studio data does not remove posts that already went out to another platform. Most platforms — Instagram included — give apps no way to delete a published post. Those have to be removed from that platform directly.
